The location of this hotel is ideal, situated right next to a subway station, making it convenient for business travelers to commute around the city. there are plenty of shops, restaurants, and tourist sights within walking distance, allowing guests to explore the area easily. the friendly and English-speaking staff provide excellent service, ensuring a pleasant stay.

It is disappointing that there is no WiFi available in the room, which can be essential for business travelers needing to stay connected.

The building was traditional. Staff and the food could not be better. Walking to yasaka shrine takes 15 minutes.

There was nothing I didnt like.

Charming Ryokan experience in Kyoto. Despite a slight mix-up with our reservation, the staff quickly accommodated us with a spacious room overlooking the picturesque river. The traditional breakfast provided was a delicious and authentic treat. I highly recommend this hotel for a unique and memorable stay in Kyoto.

The hotel is conveniently located next to a subway station, making it easy to explore the city. The room was clean and comfortable, with a spacious bathroom. The staff were friendly and provided excellent service. The breakfast, with its traditional options, was a delicious way to start the day. The hotel also had a cozy lounge area where guests could relax and socialize.

Some areas of the hotel were in need of refurbishment, such as worn down upholstery and cluttered common areas.

Last weekend I stayed at a wonderful hotel in a prime location. Not only was it close to the main attractions, but it also provided a lovely private bath, perfect to soak after a busy day of sightseeing. The Japanese style breakfast was amazing and the staff was incredibly helpful and attentive to our needs. We even received tickets to one of the top events in town and were able to skip the long lines! The room was both spacious and comfortable, making our stay truly enjoyable.

The only downside was the price, which was a bit high compared to other options. However, considering the great location and fantastic amenities, the cost was understandable.

The food was amazing, especially the traditional Japanese breakfast. I also appreciated the leisure facilities, such as the private Japanese bath. The hotel's location was great, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and key tourist sights. The traditional breakfast was delicious, and the dining area was beautiful with a serene garden view. The public bath was also a highlight, and provided a glimpse of the authentic Japanese experience.

The hotel was a letdown with its tired and worn-out decor. Our suite was not worth the high price tag, with dusty plastic flowers and futons haphazardly thrown into cupboards.
